Retlawkoob 03:02
RETLAWKOOB (R. Snyder) You can hardly conceive what you're seeing with your eyes Creeping through the forest then he'll take you by surprise Down upon your knees, culmination of your fears An ancient curse handed down from the trail of tears (chorus) Retlawkoob The water brought the stones up to the surface of the land Retlawkoob Running up behind you, gonna kill you where you stand Conjuring he is who unholy Brought forth to the physical form An evil that's beyond comprehension A resting place disturbed by the storm The elder saw a vision, used dark magic to atone Awoke to find the village crops turned into rows of stone The descendant has returned, now the barriers in place Possessed by the demon carved into the marker's face (repeat chorus) You're awake in a nightmare Dead in the blink of an eye Kill or be killed or your fate will be filled Beneath the black of the midnight sky You die When blood spills on the land Die by his hand When blood spills on the land You're gonna die by his hand, tonight he will be Set free The prophecy When blood spills on the land Set free The prophecy You're gonna die by his hand (repeat verse 1) (repeat chorus) Dead

Oxygen Thief 02:28
I dropped in on your party cause i heard the food was free Besieged by all the drivel that you spout out endlessly It's verbal masturbation but there is no release I guess I'll stick around and hope that this assault will cease You gave your point of view I should have asked for something more Your diatribes and bold face lies, I'm headed for the door Opinions are like assholes, everybody shoots some shit To be sincere, i think it's clear we've heard enough of it Your self indulgent gloating is rattling my skull We're not arguing semantics, this conversation's dull Your friends are sitting targets to your banality If talk is cheap then your mouth ought to file bankruptcy You gave your point of view, I should have asked for something else Your lectures and conjectures are a hazard to my health Opinions are like assholes, everybody shoots some shit To be sincere, i think it's clear That we've heard enough of it now It's way too late for a pointless debate You're driving me around the bend Can't you surmise by the look in my eyes That I want this conversation to end? You pontificate about the people you hate I think this is where i came in Your points aren't valid, just an endless word salad I consider it the ultimate sin Shut up I dropped in on your party and it was a mistake But hindsight's 20/20 and i left with a headache Now silence can be golden, we know this much is true This rule applies any time I'm trapped in the room with you (Chorus) I'm gonna throw a fit Please stick a sock in it I've heard enough so stop causing me grief Oxygen Thief

DANGER IN BLUE (R. Snyder) Once you hear the siren you've got to hide They got the badge so you must abide Any type of evidence makes a crime Anything just so you do time In my jurisdiction, no need for a conviction Your guilty until proven innocent I'm the judge and the jury in a coke-induced fury No lawyers here to plead for your defense I'm sure you'll confess after hours of duress Or you'll see my revolver explode I'll perform search and seizure and grope at my leisure Young girls on the side of the road (chorus) Protect and serve with extreme prejudice I'll read you your rights with a club or a fist I'll rid the streets of the scum I detest I'm danger in blue and you're under arrest Busted It's hard to deny that I have a keen eye for determining who's right and wrong I'll smash in your face if I don't like your race or I think that you're hair is too long The dealers pay high so I turn a blind eye Try the precinct, I'm always on call Execute you on site, grab the suitcase of white Shoot and laugh as your brains paint the wall (repeat chorus) How can I even trust you? I can't even throw you Chi, Independence, & San Fran Just a brutal man I just want to be free It's like you wanna put one in me (repeat chorus) Punk

Dollar Ditch 02:40
DOLLAR DITCH (R. Snyder / M. Troost) Your set was really rad, the kids went off like mad But the news I have is bad He tells me with a sigh, with your portion of the pie We pay the sound guy Sell tickets in advance and you might get the chance To watch your fans slamdance At fifteen bucks a head on a Wednesday night that's dead Then they pocket all the bread (chorus 1) We drive around the country, I play guitar and sing And make less money then a guy at Burger King It barely covers gas and there's no hope of getting rich Promoters steal are money, leave us in the dollar ditch The turnout's kind of low, I thought you guys should know That I don't promote my show I hate to be a pest, so a post or two at best And the bands can do the rest We thought it would be great to pay bands with a food plate But you guys showed up too late Yeah you missed the free cuisine I hope this doesn't sound to mean But this town has no metal scene (chorus 2) We drive around the country, I play guitar and sing And make less money then a guy at Burger King It barely covers gas and there's no hope of getting rich We throw all of our money deep inside the dollar ditch Can I borrow ten bucks? Man this shit it really sucks Sometimes it feels like we're just paying to play You can have a great time and never make a fucking dime If your ego doesn't get in the way Fuck that Beat A day late and a dollar short The headline of the scene report Beat Tapped out trying to make a buck The show's shut down your out of luck (repeat chorus 2)

about

Billing themselves as the tri-state kings of crossover, New Jersey natives The Donner Party have gained a notorious reputation worldwide for brazenly celebrating the rowdy and riotous days of the 1980's crossover scene; that glorious era when hair swinging thrash metal was arduously fused with hardcore punk by groundbreaking acts like D.R.I., S.O.D., and Suicidal Tendencies. Since its inception in 2009, the band has been hard at work brazenly serving up their own high speed, circle pit inciting rendition of those halcyon days for a whole new generation of hungry metal maniacs to devour. The band was initially formed in the toxic wastelands of Bloomfield by singer / guitarist Ross Snyder, drummer Matt Yar, bassist Mike DiPisa and original guitarist Stephen Rasczyk. They promptly gained a name in the thrash metal community with the release of their D.I.Y. debut EP "The Spawning", a 15 minute / 7 song sonic blast of lightning fast riffs and head bashing breakdowns that was glowingly embraced by both critics and fans alike. With their early lyrical content being divided between socially aware, politically charged musings and gore-drenched, horror movie worship, they initially drew comparisons to some of the more politically minded bands of the past such as Sacred Reich, Nuclear Assault, & Cryptic Slaughter.

After the departure of Rasczyk in 2012, Snyder, Yar, & DiPisa soldiered on as a tightly wound three-piece act and returned to the studio to work on their follow up LP. They delivered the self-released “Chain Reaction” LP in March of 2013 on both a CD and a limited-edition cassette containing 3 bonus tracks. The band continued its trademark crossover sound but with a focus on slightly longer and more intricate arrangements on some tracks; a sound influenced by Snyder’s interest in more traditional thrash outfits like Vio-Lence, Grinder, & Evil Dead. They scored a minor college radio hit with the song “Liven Rising” which was spun in regular rotation on several local stations and became one of the Top 5 most requested songs of 2015 (by an unsigned act) on 89.5 FM WSOU, New Jersey’s preeminent heavy metal radio station. They soon found a kindred spirit (and a new lease on life) with the addition of second guitarist Matt Troost (ex-Mortician & Mons Pubis) and they quickly resumed their chaotic live assault on East Coast clubs once again as a well-oiled, punishing four-piece unit.

In 2017 the band finally released their long-awaited follow up to “Chain Reaction” with the “Pizza Patrol” LP. Released on the RaptorKill Records imprint, “Pizza Patrol”captures the bands return to more traditional, hardcore inspired crossover as well as a new, more sarcastic and fun approach to the lyrical content. In addition to expressing their ongoing affection for pizza and splatter films, the band fully embraced their love for New York hardcore both tonally and by inviting legendary Leeway front man Eddie Sutton to collaborate on the track “Danger In Blue”. Over the span of their nearly decade long run as a supporting act, The Donner Party has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with many of their early musical influences including D.R.I., Leeway, Blood Feast, Cro-Mags, Murphy’s Law, Anvil, Raven, Urban Waste, Attacker, & The Casualties plus a smattering of today’s premiere thrash and metal acts such as Hatchet, Lich King, Bat, & Night Demon. The band is currently back in the lab writing material for a brand-new album tentatively scheduled for some time in 2019. Between their busy slate of live club appearances and some planned split and compilation CD contributions, The Donner Party (if they haven't already) is bound to bring it’s pizza fueled, crossover attack to your radar in the imminent future.
